Save the Family has launched a $3.5 million Strategic Growth Campaign entitled, “Building a Brighter Future, Together!” We are excited about this campaign because it will assist us in raising funds to support our expanding services and housing units.
The opportunity to enhance our support network for vulnerable families and to strengthen the community’s future arose through a $19.8 million public-private partnership known as the “Escobedo at Verde Vista.” To better serve our clients, the development includes constructing 70 new affordable housing units and a new administrative building.
Transforming an Agency—and a Community
As part of an exciting public-private redevelopment of Mesa’s Washington-Escobedo neighborhood, Save the Family has the opportunity—and an attainable vision—to enhance the support network for vulnerable families and strengthen the community’s future. The neighborhood development will serve as a catalyst for further investment and redevelopment in a community that Save the Family has served since our inception. Importantly, the development will double the capacity of our affordable housing and program services with the following:
- New administrative offices, program facilities, and seventy new affordable housing units.
- Restoration of four original Washington-Escobedo homes that document the history of the community.
- High-quality resources and recreational amenities for resident families, such as a Youth Center, computer lab, and recreational facilities.
Your Contribution Matters
Every dollar you donate toward the “Building a Brighter Future, Together” campaign is an investment in the future of vulnerable families in the East Valley–and the greater Valley community as a whole. This campaign offers outstanding giving opportunities at all levels, as well as significant recognition for donors, including naming opportunities.
