Celeste Adams has over 20 years of experience in the social services field and holds a Master degree in Counseling Psychology (1998) from the University of Kentucky and a Bachelor degree in Psychology (1994) from Arizona State University. She has been a member of the Save the Family team since September, 2000. Celeste has a passion for assisting families and individuals in overcoming issues of homelessness and poverty.
Celeste’s current position at Save the Family is as the Client Resource Manager. She provides classes directly to the families and schedules presenters in the following six areas of focus: Financial Literacy, Legal Services, Parenting Skills, Domestic Violence Support and Education, Wellness and Nutrition and General Life Skills. In addition, she supports the case management staff in providing information to families on local resources in the community and is a member of the Maricopa Association of Government (MAG) Domestic Violence Counsel as well as the Financial Coalition Team through the Valley of the Sun United Way. Celeste is responsible for supervision of the volunteers and staff in the Child and Youth programs, the Transportation Department and SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program).
