The holiday season is a time of joy, togetherness, and giving — but for many families, it can also be a time of struggle. Save the Family believes every child and parent deserves a holiday filled with warmth and hope. That’s why the Save the Family holiday drive is so important.
The community came together again this year and donated gifts and holiday meals for the families that are working hard to rebuild their lives.
The Holiday Drive is more than just a gift-giving initiative; it’s a chance to remind families in crisis that they are not alone. Here’s how the community showed up this year.
- Adopt-a-Family: Provided personalized gifts to 300 families this year.
- Holiday Meals: Supplied the turkey and all the trimmings for 500 families.
- Volunteer Hours: Hundreds came to wrap, and distribute gifts.

Why It Matters
More than 60% of the individuals Save the Family serves are children. These children often face challenges like housing instability, interrupted schooling, and emotional stress. The Holiday Drive not only provides material support but also brings hope and stability during a critical time of year.
