Save the Family is proud to partner with Phoenix Scholar House, an innovative program designed to empower single-parent families and break the cycle of poverty through education. This unique initiative is an education program that provides a comprehensive support system, including the possibility of affordable housing, to help families thrive.
Application Process
The participant must apply for and be accepted into the educational component of the Scholar House Program to qualify for the secondary part of the program, housing. The housing and educational programs are administered as one program. The housing depends on the participant’s successful participation and continuation in the education component.
- Candidates must complete the online interest form
- The candidate will be scheduled to attend an in-person orientation and interview process.
- Upon completion of orientation, candidates must ensure they complete all items on the pre-residential provided checklist. Applicants will be scored by a point system established by the Scholar House on the completion of tasks.
- Upon successful completion of the pre-residential requirements, the candidate and family have the opportunity to move into the housing unit.

By providing a stable environment and the tools for success, Phoenix Scholar House will empower parents to create a brighter future for themselves and their children. The program is currently under construction and is expected to welcome its first families in early 2026.
