As part of the Light the World initiative, unique vending machines allowed families across the globe to support local nonprofits, and in Arizona, Save the Family was one of eight organizations invited to participate.
Save the Family’s Robyn Julien discussed her nonprofit’s work in providing housing, case management and other supportive services to families that are homeless or on the brink of losing shelter.
“What we do is we work with families that are homeless or at risk of being homeless to help get them back towards self-sufficiency. This year, we will serve more than 1,000 families, and, even more importantly, provide more than 400,000 safe nights of sleep to those in our community.”
