Save the Family Foundation Hosts ‘Tricks, Treats, and Takeaways’ Costume Drive to Support Local Families

PHOENIX, AZ (September 15, 2025) – Save the Family Foundation of Arizona is excited to launch ‘Tricks, Treats, and Takeaways’ Costume Drive to bring a spooky and fun Halloween to the families they serve. New costumes will be collected at the Save the Family headquarters (125 E. University Dr, Mesa, AZ 85201) now through October 10 and distributed at a special, festive family event on October 22.

Local businesses, community members, and partner organizations have already begun to donate. The goal is to collect 300 costumes so children from Save the Family can join in the fall celebrations. There’s a special need for medium and large sizes for boys and girls, and all sizes for teens and parents.
“For the families we support, even small expenses like Halloween costumes can feel overwhelming,” said Robyn Julien, CEO of Save the Family Foundation. “Through this drive, we’re reminded how powerful community can be — making it possible for every child to take part in one of the most magical and anticipated evenings of childhood. We’re grateful for the early generosity of local businesses and neighbors who make this possible.”

Save the Family will invite the families they help to their headquarters on October 22, for ‘Tricks, Treats, and Takeaways’ where kids can pick out and try on their costume, participate in a craft and enjoy sweet treats.

In addition to costume donations, Save the Family is looking for volunteers and groups to help with costume organization, distribution, and activity stations for the event on October 22. All donated new costumes should be delivered by October 10. For more information, to donate, or learn more about the event and our upcoming holiday drive, visit our Halloween Costume Drive page.
